Keynote speaker, Mark Winne-- nationally known food justice activist and author of Closing the Food Gap –Resetting the Table in the Land of Plenty.
The conference will also feature:
- Commissioner John Auerbach, MA Department of Public Health;
- A panel discussion led by healthy food and physical activity activists working in four different regions of the Commonwealth:
--Karen Voci, Panel Moderator; Executive Director, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Foundation;
--Diego Angarita-Horowitz, Community Outreach Specialist, Holyoke Food and Fitness Policy Council;
-- Casey Burns, Urban Food System Program Director, Regional Environmental Council of Central Massachusetts;
